Controls & shortcuts.

The interface

• Top tabs - switch between Beat, Bass, Groove, Synth, Vocal, Guitar, Arp, FX, and Master. Tap to select.
• Hold a tab - opens the tab wheel menu. Quick access to tuning, instrument actions, swap, mute.
• Double-tap a tab - mutes that tab. Tap again to unmute.
• PLAY / STOP - tap to start or stop playback. Pulses in sync with the beat.
• CTRL (bottom-left) - opens the edit wheel: Undo, Redo, Quantize, Swing, Ghost Notes, advanced tools.
• Pattern / Auto - generates pattern ideas. Hold to open the genre pattern wheel.
• Sound - tap to cycle presets. Hold to open the full sound wheel.
• Vibe - controls Genre, Scale, and grid mode (Simple or DAW).
• Scene A / B / C / D - tap to switch scenes. Hold to copy, paste, evolve, manage scenes.
• Clear - tap to clear current tab. Hold to clear all tabs.
• Menu (top-left) - settings, themes, export, visual options.
• BPM (top-right) - tap +/- to adjust tempo.
• VIEW (bottom-right) - grid display: Steps, Rows, Grid mode, Light/Dark toggle.

Wheel menus

• CTRL wheel - Undo, Redo, Quantize, Swing, Ghost Notes, Record arm, Advanced mode.
• VIEW wheel - Steps (8/16/32/64/128), Rows (7/25/49), Grid mode (Simple/DAW), Light/Dark.
• Tempo wheel (hold BPM) - BPM and time signature.
• Tab wheel (hold any instrument tab) - Tuning, Swap, Preset cycling, Mute.
• Genre wheel (hold Pattern) - browse genre-based pattern presets.
• Sound wheel (hold Sound) - browse all presets and kits.
• Scene wheel (hold A/B/C/D) - copy, paste, evolve, manage arrangement scenes.

Grid features

• Note joiner - in DAW mode, tap the connector between two adjacent notes to merge them into a longer note.
• Page navigation - with 32+ steps, use page arrows, swipe screen edges, or tap the page indicator. AUTO follows the playhead.
• Marquee selection - in DAW mode, click and drag on empty space to select multiple notes.

Sound design

• Tuning panel - hold a tab and choose Tuning, or press T. Adjust oscillator, filter, envelope, effects, and output per preset.
• SMP / OSC+ - SMP toggles sample/synth mode. OSC+ opens oscillator settings with waveform, detune, and unison.
• Page 2 - extended controls: character parameters, advanced filter, modulation.
• FX tab - touch the XY pad to control effects in real time. Drag to modulate filter, delay, reverb, distortion.
• Motion control - tilt and move your device to control FX (accelerometer/gyroscope).

Mixer

• Master tab - per-channel volume faders. Mute and solo individual instruments.
• Sidechain - per-channel sidechain compression.
• Spectrum analyzer - real-time frequency display across all channels.
• VU meters - per-channel level monitoring.

Advanced features

• Arrangement View - press Tab on keyboard or open from Master tab wheel. Build full songs from scenes A/B/C/D. Drag to reorder.
• Looper - record phrases and loop them. Tap again for the advanced Looper menu.
• Recording Booth - record your own samples and kits. Save and load from the Beat tab.

Export

• MENU > EXPORT > EXPORT - renders the track as WAV. Prepare all scenes first.
• MENU > EXPORT > SOUND PACK > FORCE SAVE + EXPORT - saves everything into a shareable file.

Transport

• Space - Play / Stop
• Escape - Cancel, close panels, stop playback
• Ctrl+Z - Undo
• Ctrl+Shift+Z / Ctrl+Y - Redo
• Ctrl+S - Save session

Tabs

• 1-7 - Select instrument tab (Beat, Bass, Groove, Synth, Vocal, Guitar, Arp)

• 9 - Master tab
• Same number twice - Mute/unmute that tab

• Delete / Backspace - Delete selected notes
• Ctrl+A - Select all notes
• Q - Quantize selected notes
• S - Toggle snap to grid
• Ctrl+Scroll - Horizontal zoom

• Alt+Scroll - Vertical zoom (pitch range)
• Scroll - Vertical pan (pitch scroll)

MIDI

Connect any USB or Bluetooth MIDI controller. Notes play through the DSP engine. MIDI CC knobs map to volume, BPM, and transport. Full MIDI details.
